We want you to end up with the right slide.
Because fit, wall thickness, taper, and feel can be personal, some customers order more than one slide to compare at home. That is completely fine.
Trying More Than One Slide
You may purchase multiple slides and return or exchange the ones that are not right for you, as long as they are returned within the policy window and in good condition.
If you are ordering from outside the U.S., please contact us first so we can discuss shipping and the best way to handle returns or exchanges.
Return Policy
Domestic U.S. orders may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be in good condition. Once received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exchange Policy
Domestic U.S. orders may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
If you would like a different model, size, wall thickness, or color, send us a note with what you would like in exchange and we will help you get the right fit.
For eligible domestic exchanges, we will make the process easy. We will cover shipping on the replacement slide and send you a prepaid mailer for the return. We cover this full exchange shipping service one time per order.
If there is a price difference, we will either refund the difference or contact you about the remaining balance.
Additional exchanges after the first covered exchange may require the customer to pay shipping.
Purchases Made Through Retailers or Other Shops
If you purchased your Silica Sound slide through a music store, another shop, or one of our online retailers and need a different size or model, please feel free to contact us.
In many cases, we are happy to help with an exchange directly so you can get the right fit. Exchange options may depend on the condition of the slide and the specific situation, but we do our best to make it easy.

Custom Taper Sizing and Custom Length Work
Custom sizing and custom length work includes labor performed specifically to your measurements and specifications.
Because this work is done to order, labor charges for custom taper sizing and custom length modifications are non-refundable.
If you return a slide that included custom work, we can refund the cost of the slide itself, minus the custom labor charge, provided the return otherwise falls within our return policy.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements when ordering custom work. We are happy to provide sizing guidance before you order, but final measurement accuracy is the customer’s responsibility.
International Orders
For international orders, please contact us before requesting a return or exchange.
International customers are responsible for shipping costs related to returns and exchanges. Because international shipping can be expensive, we recommend reaching out first so we can help determine the best option.
Defective or Damaged Slides
If your slide arrives defective or is damaged, please email us with photos and we will help make it right.
If a glass slide is cracked or broken, do not use it. Please discard broken glass carefully and contact us right away.
