Each Silica Sound glass guitar pick is handcrafted in the flame from exceptionally durable borosilicate glass. People often ask, “But they’re glass, won’t they break?” The answer is surprisingly no. Thanks to the strength of borosilicate glass and the precision shaping process, these picks are incredibly resilient. You can play your heart out, and even if dropped repeatedly, they’ll withstand most falls without breaking. Of course, as with any glass, they can break if they hit just the right spot or a particularly hard surface. But unlike plastic picks that disappear into an acoustic guitar, these picks offer durability with a unique tonal quality that sets them apart.

Our Single Color Picks are flame-worked to combine a solid glass color with clear glass, producing a striking contrast and unique look. Currently, we offer three colors, but we plan to add more in the future. Silica Sound glass picks are crafted to resemble the classic guitar pick in size and shape but with the added benefits of glass. They are slightly thicker than typical picks, with a minimum thickness ranging between 2.0 and 3.0mm, offering a smooth, fast playing experience with distinctive tonal qualities.
